The challenge was managing recovery from a critical failure while ensuring the replacement system was correctly specified and installed.

QCAS began by conducting a detailed audit of the compressed air system and surrounding infrastructure to determine what could be retained and what required replacement.

QCAS’ scope of work included:

• Technical assessment of the damaged compressor and associated equipment
• Supporting insurance processes with clear, practical technical input
• Design and installation of a new 90 kW BSD compressor system suited to the site’s operational requirements
• Installation of new supporting infrastructure and Air Lines where required
• Ensuring all works met safety, compliance, and installation standards
  

Throughout the process, QCAS worked closely with stakeholders to minimise downtime and ensure the new system was delivered efficiently and correctly.

The new compressed air system restored reliable operation at the All Industries Group facility following the incident.
