Desiccant dryers use an adsorbent material and can achieve lower pressure dew points for more moisture-sensitive processes or conditions where condensation must be controlled at lower temperatures. Selection should consider regeneration requirements, energy use, pressure loss and maintenance as well as the required dew point. Provide the maximum airflow, operating pressure, compressor and existing dryer details, expected inlet temperature, ambient conditions and required pressure dew point. Rated dryer capacity depends on the stated test conditions, so a nominal capacity should be checked against your actual installation. If you are finding water at tools or production equipment, describe when it happens and which outlets are affected. The cause can involve sizing, drainage, filters, operating conditions or distribution piping as well as the dryer itself.
